This is a wonderful plate of Ordovician fossils. It is a nice assemblage of Herbertella sp. brachiopods from Montgomery County, Kentucky. This specimen was acquired from an old fossil colllector. This double plate has two nice examples represented. The distinct ribbing of the brachs is very easily seen. The brachs are quite inflated and are a very aesthetic brown color. This is a very fine Ordovician brachiopod double from Kentucky.
