Here is an interesting vertebrate fossil. It is a large Fossil Deer Jaw from Nebraska. ALL of the molars are still firmly embedded in the jaw. The teeth are very well preserved - the cusps are still sharp and not worn from use. The enamel of the teeth is in wonderful condition, and the jawbone is also beautifully preserved. This is a very fine fossilized deer jaw with teeth preserved - a great collection piece or cool gift for a deer hunter.
