Here is a fabulous specimen of Echinocorys humilis from the Cretaceous of Germany. This distinct specimen was acquired from an old fossil collection. The extremely inflated echinoid exhibits very fine detail. The plate structure is very well defined, and the ambulacra are easily seen. The classic shape of the sea urchin is wonderfully displayed. This is an excellent example of this large sea urchin from Germany.
