Here is a very unusual association specimen from the Ordovician of Morocco. This plate contains a beautiful, true starfish and edrioasteroids. The distinct starfish exhibits gorgeous detail. The plate structure is wonderfully displayed, and all five of the long arms are intact - it is highly unusual to have all of the arms so nicely preserved. There is also a large, killer edrioasteroid and a few baby edrios on the plate. The fossils have excellent, orange coloration that contrasts strikingly with the light tan matrix. The fossils are well showcased on the natural-edged block of sandstone. This is a very collectible starfish/edrio fossil from North Africa.
