Here is a genuine iron meteorite that fell from outer space. This Sikhote-Alin meteorite is from a rare witnessed and documented fall. This specimen fell to Earth on February 12, 1947 in far Eastern Russia. This meteorite is composed of 90% iron and a small percentage of nickel. The natural shape of this meteorite is quite unusual. The meteorite comes is a glass-topped display case. This is a very unique piece of the history of the universe - what a conversation piece!
