Here is a very displayable brachiopod specimen. This is an excellent example of Trigonia navis from the Jurassic of Germany. The brachiopods is extremely inflated and exhibit very nice detail. The brach is quite ornate and displays very coarse plications and multiple worm tubes. The fossil has excellent color and contrast and is beautifully perched on the natural block of matrix that also containd a belemnite and a bivalve! This is a very collectible brachiopod specimen from Germany.
