Here is an unusual multiple plate of edrioasteroids from the Ordovician of Canada. There are SIX specimens of Isorophusella incondita on the slab. Edrioasteroids were primitive echinoderms which consisted of a flexible theca composed of numerous polygonal plates. These edrioasteroids exhibit fine detail. The outer rings of small plates are beautifully displayed, and the ambulacral plates are well defined. The cream-colored fossils contrast nicely with the grey matrix. The edrios are well presented on the rectangular slab of hard limestone that also contains many other fossils. This is a rare multiple plate of these uncommon echinoderms from Canada.
