Here are two extremely rare trilobite-eating organisms, identified as Xiphosurids. This enigmatic animal is one of the rarest and most unusual organisms to be found in these Lower Ordovician layers. There are two specimens preserved on the plate  - one is a partial, but one is textbook, with the head, thorax, and telson extremely well preserved. The NATURAL red-orange color is quite beautiful and very easily seen on both specimens. This is a very collectible double specimen of this strange and little-known arthropod from the Ordovician of North Africa.
