Here is a very displayable brachiopod specimen. This is an excellent multiple example of Rhynchonella decorata from the Jurassic of France. There are many brachiopods on the plate. The brachiopods are extremely inflated and exhibit very nice detail. Some specimens have both valves present and tightly articulated. The brachiopods display very coarse plications and multiple growth lines. The fossils have excellent color and contrast very well with the whitish-colored matrix. The brachiopods are beautifully perched on the natural block of matrix. This is a very aesthetic brachiopod specimen from France.
