Here is a very rare fossil worm. This is Selkirkia willoughbyi from the Marjum Formation of Utah. This genus of priapulid worm has also been found in the famous Burgess Shale of Canada. This worm is well preserved and very distinct. The fossil worm is well centered on the rectangular plate of shale and contrasts well with the matrix. This is a unique specimen of a fossil worm from the Middle Cambrian.
