This is a beautiful fossil shrimp from the Jurassic of Germany. It is Aeger tipularis from the famous Solnhofen Lithographic Limestone. This shrimp is complete and has fine detail preserved. The head, the segmented carapace, and even the tail are wonderfully displayed. The fossil has great dark color and strong contrast and is nicely centered on the natural-edged plate of unbroken, dendritic limestone. This is a very affordable example of this classic fossil arthropod from a world-famous locality.

This fossil was collected and obtained legally, and is also being sold legally.
