This is a very rare pair of Branchiosaurus amphibian skeletons from the Lower Permian in Germany. The pit that this fossil came from was closed in 1984, so these have to now be acquired from an old collection. The skulls, feet, and backbones are easily seen. The amphibians are well showcased on the large, natural plate of shale. This is a very unusual double example of Branchiosaurus amphibian skeletons.
This fossil was collected and obtained legally, and is also being sold legally.
