Here is a very detailed grouping of fossil echinoderms from the Ordovician of Morocco. This plate contains a pair of RARE cystoids and a beautifu, largel Lapworthia brittlestar. The brittlestar exhibits gorgeous detail - the large central disc is wonderfully displayed, and the long, sinuous arms are nicely intact. It is highly unusual to have two primitive cystoids and a fabulous brittlestar preserved so close together. The fossils have excellent, totally natural, orange coloration that contrasts beautifully with the sculpted matrix. The fossils are well showcased on the large block of sandstone. This is a very aesthetic plate of rare echinoderm fossils from Africa.
