This is a nice fossil from an unusual locality. It is a Carcharocles megalodon shark tooth from California. It is from the famous "Shark Tooth Hill" collecting locality. This specimen was found in the 1960's, and has been in a collection ever since (original label is included). The tooth has very nice serrations and GREAT color. It is a nice example of a shark tooth from a classic locality.
