This is a rare pair of Branchiosaurus amphibian skeletons from the Lower Permian in Germany. The pit that this fossil came from was closed in 1984, so these have to now be acquired from an old collection. The skull, feet, and backbone are easily seen. The amphibians are well showcased on the natural plate of shale. This is a very fine example of TWO Branchiosaurus amphibian skeletons.
