This is a fabulous set of classic US trilobites. These are true Ceraurus pleurexanthemus and a Flexicalymene senaria from the famous Walcott-Rust Quarry near Trenton Falls, New York. Ceraurus is one of the original trilobites that Charles Walcott and James Hall made famous a century ago! This plate is a NATURAL TRIPLE, with all three trilobites complete and well displayed. The trilobites have extremely nice detail preserved, showcasing the thick shell exoskeletons beautifully. Anyone who knows anything about the history of US trilobites knows how important a trilobite from this locality is - and a triple of two different types is special. This is a very collectible TRIPLE trilobite plate from New York State.

This fossil was collected and obtained legally, and is also being sold legally.
