This is an unusual fossil shark tooth. It is a Carcharocles megalodon from Chile. This specimen is from the very rear of the jaw, which makes it wider than it is tall. The serrations are large and very sharp. The tip is intact and nearly perfect. The root is very thick and is in nice shape. This is a very unusual fossil shark tooth from an exotic location.
