Here is a very nice crinoid and blastoid specimen from the Paint Creek Formation of Illinois. This specimen was collected over 30 years ago and was recently acquired from a major fossil collection. There an unidentified crinoid and Pentremites sp. on the plate. Both of the fossils have a beautiful red coloration - this color is fully natural and not added. The fossils are well positioned on the rectangular matrix plate that also contains several other fossils. This is a rare plate of echinoderms from a classic collecting site in Illinois.
