Here is a very nice solitary, or ''horn'', coral. This is Bathanyphyllum sp. from the Devonian of Arkona, Ontario, Canada. The large horn coral is preserved in a 3-dimensional manner and exhibits excellent detail - the unusual structure of the coral is easily seen. This is a great example of a Devonian horn coral from Canada.
