This is a very unusual fossil. It is a fine Knightia eocaena fish with coprolite (poop) from the Green River Formation of Wyoming. Both the fish and coprolite are extremely detailed. The long turd (right above the dorsal fin of the fish) is the remnants of a meal that the fish had for dinner 50 million years ago. This is a very collectible example of both a fossil fish and a coprolite preserved on the same plate - what a conversation piece!
