Here is a very nice vertebrate fossil. This is a large deer jaw from the Pleistocene of Oklahoma. FIVE beautiful teeth are still firmly embedded in the wonderfully preserved jaw. The teeth show very little wear, and the enamel is well displayed. The bone has a rich, brown natural patina intact. This is a great fossil for a collection, or an unusual gift for a deer hunter.
