Here is a very large solitary, or ''horn'', coral. It is a very long Heliophyllum sp. coral from the Pennsylvanian of Kansas. The large horn coral is preserved in a very 3-dimensional manner and exhibits excellent detail - the unusual structure of the coral is easily seen. There are also other small corals on the beautiful, orange block of limestone. This is a great example of a huge Heliophyllum horn coral from Kansas.

This fossil was collected and obtained legally, and is also being sold legally.
