Here is a very unusual plate of fossil leaves from the Eocene of Colorado. There are two nice examples of Macginitiea wyomingensis (Sycamore) leaves on the slab. The long lobes of the Sycamore leaves are very distinct, and the venation is easily seen. The leaves are attached at the bottoms of the petioles, which is extremely unusual. There are also a few other fossil leaves on the plate. This is a very collectible plate of fossil Sycamore leaves from Colorado.
