Here is a nice specimen of an unidentified leaf from an unusual location. This fossil leaf is from the Miocene of Germany. This leaf is ovate in outline with very strong primary venation. A short petiole is still attached to the leaf. This fossil has great, natural color and contrast and is well showcased on the semi-rectangular plate of matrix. The word "Zint" is written on the back, for what it's worth. This is a very interesting example of a fossil leaf from the Miocene of Germany.
