Now here is an enigmatic specimen. It is a pair of Conularia from the Silurian of New York. There is still a lot of debate on the classification of this animal. These fossils are large and exhibit fine detail. The crenulated ''ribs'' of the fossil shells are well defined. The fossils have good color and contrast, and their cone-like shape is easily seen. This is a very good multiple example of this extremely unusual fossil.
