This is a very unusual echinoderm plate. It is a pair of Unidentified Carpoids and a partial brittlestar from the Ordovician of Morocco. This strange type has a long stem, a large, multi-plated body, and NO arms (that we can see). All of these features are well preserved on these specimens. The carpoids and brittlestar are beautifully displayed on the semi-squared plate of sandstone. This is an excellent multiple plate of these unusual carpoids from Africa.
