Here is a very unusual multiple plate of fossil fish from China. These are Lycoptera davidi from the Upper Jurassic. There are three complete fish on the plate, which is quite uncommon. These colorful fish exhibit fine detail. The bone structures are well preserved, and the bodies of the fish are easily seen. The orange-brown fish contrast very nicely with the tan matrix. This is a very nice multiple example of Jurassic fish from China.
