This is a very uncommon fossil leaf. It is a beautiful Sycamore Leaf from a new find in the Paleocene of Montana. This specimen has a great natural shape - the serrations and venation are very clearly seen. The fabulous color makes for a striking display. The large leaf is well showcased on theplate of shale that also has a large leaf on the back side.. This is a wonderful example of a rare Sycamore leaf from an unusual location in Montana.
