This is a beautiful fossil plant from the Cretacous of Morocco. This unidentified (undescribed?) plant looks like it could be a rare cycad or fern frond. The detail of this strange plant is just exquisite! The structure is clearly defined, and the many "leaflets" are wonderfully displayed. The dark color of the plant contrasts well with the light-colored matrix. The fossil is wonderfully showcased on the large plate of limestone. This is a very detailed specimen of this extremely displayable fossil plant from Africa.
