This is a rare dinosaur tooth. It is a distinct Carnotaurus sastrei tooth from Argentina. This specimen was recently acquired from the Richard Busch Collection. Busch was the Preparator/Asst. Curator at the North Museum in Lancaster, PA from 1965-1992. This tooth is not great, but it IS a Carnotaurus sastrei tooth. The enamel is cracked and has some missing spots, but whet is there is decent. The serrations are missing on the inside curve of the tooth but the outside curve has almost all of the serrations intact. The tooth is robust and very 3-D. This is a rare example of a Carnotaurus sastrei tooth from the Busch Collection.

Note: Argentina has now banned the export of all fossils. We will strictly abide by and enforce this law - we will not acquire new fossils from Argentina. However, this fossil was collected and exported WELL prior to this law, and can be sold legally.
