This is a very rare vertebrate fossil. It is a pair of complete Mosasaurus anceps teeth from the Cretaceous of Morocco. A nice Mosasaur tooth is an uncommon find, a tooth with the root intact is a very rare find, but a plate with TWO complete Mosasaur teeth with roots intact is screamin' rare! The teeth retain the full, long, natural natural roots. The teeth also exhibit excellent detail - the enamel of the teeth is excellent, and the tips of the teeth are in fine shape. The teeth have wonderful color and contrast and are well showcased on the large, natural block of matrix that also contans parts of the jawbone! This is a very collectible and displayable pair of Mosasaur teeth with roots from North Africa.
