This is a wonderful fish plate from the Green River Shale. The HUGE fish on the plate is a fabulous Mioplosus labracoides. This fish is very long (a full 12 inches long!) and quite detailed. There are also three other fish of two different types preserved on the plate. All of the fish have wonderful color and superb contrast. The fish display beautifully on the large slab of shale. This is an extremely aesthetic display plate of THREE different fossil fish from Wyoming.
