This is a wonderful plate of Ordovician fossils. It is a large assemblage of Herbertella sp. brachiopods from Montgomery County, Kentucky. This specimen was acquired from an old fossil colllector. This mulrtiple plate has many examples represented. The distinct ribbing of the brachs is very easily seen. The brachs are quite inflated and are a very aesthetic brown color. This is a very nice Ordovician brachiopod sea floor slab from Kentucky.
