This is rare brittlestar fossil. It is a multiple plate of Geocoma elegans brittlestars from France. This plate has MANY brittlestars scattered about the plate. The most striking feature about these starfish is their long, sinuous arms. The 'stars have amazing detail when viewed under magnification. The echinoderms are nicely spaced on the large display plate. This is a wonderful multiple example of these unusual brittlestars.
