This is a rare set of fossil leaves. There is a large Davidia antique Leaf and a pair of smaller Zizyphoides flabellum leaves from a new find in the Paleocene of Montana. These specimens have great shape - the reticulation and venation are very clearly seen. The fabulous color makes for a striking display. The distinct leaves are well showcased on the semi-squared plate of shale. This is a wonderful grouping of rare fossil leaves from an unusual location in Montana.
