Here is a very fine fossil shark tooth. This is a very nice Carcharocles megalodon tooth from South Carolina. This distinct tooth has great natural color and has the classic "arrowhead" shape well displayed. The shiny enamel is well preserved on both sides of the robust tooth. The serrations are very sharp, and the tip and root are also quite nice. This is a very cool specimen of a fossilized shark tooth from the ancient version of ''Jaws''. (Shiny spots are reflections, not on the tooth.)
