This is a nice Extinct White Shark (Carcharocles megalodon) tooth from the Miocene of South Carolina. This Meg tooth is robust and has the classic ''shark tooth'' shape intact. The enamel is natural and very well displayed. The serrations are worn, but still present and easily seen, and the root is also nicely intact. The other side of the tooth is also well preserved - both sides display wonderfully. This is a cool fossil Meg tooth, from the ancient version of ''Jaws''.
