This is an excellent pair of fossil fish from the Cretacous of Morocco. These fish are complete and wonderfully articulated. The detail of the Satericthys, the large, disc-shaped fish, is just exquisite! The bone structure is clearly defined, and the fins and tail are wonderfully displayed. The natural, dark brown color of both fish contrasts beautifully with the light-colored matrix. The fossils are nicely showcased on the very large plate of limestone. This is a great double specimen of these unusual fish from Africa.
