This is a very unusual pair of fossil fish from the Cretacous of Morocco. These unidentified (undescribed?) fish are complete and wonderfully articulated. The detail of the larger fish is just exquisite! The bone structure is clearly defined, and the LONG fins and tail are wonderfully displayed (somewhat hidden by dendrites). The natural color of the fish contrasts well with the light-colored matrix. The fossils are well showcased on the very large plate of limestone. This is a rare double specimen of two extremely unusual fish from Africa.
