This is a highly collectible meteorite. It is a large specimen of Dhofar 461, a famous meteorite from the Earth's Moon. Dhofar 461 was found in the Sahara Desert in April of 2001. The total known weight of all recovered masses is only 33.72 grams! This meteorite is an anorthositic crystalline melt breccia.
