This is an excellent fossil Oreodont tooth. It is from a Merycoidodon culbertsoni, an extinct herding animal similar to a sheep. This is a canine tooth, so it comes to a distinct point. The enamel and root are very easily seen. The tooth is beautifully showcased in an acrylic display case. This is a nice fossil tooth that would make a wonderful conversation piece.
