Excellent Sperm Whale Tooth From The Miocene

Here is an excellent tooth from a sperm whale. This is Kogiopsis sp. from the Miocene of South Carolina. This large tooth is very 3-dimensional and exhibits nice preservation. A substantial portion of the root is intact. The tooth exhibits pleasing curvature and the tip of the tooth comes to a nice point. The tooth has been polished for optimal display. This is a beautiful sperm whale tooth from South Carolina.
