This is a fabulous fossil shark tooth. It is a huge Isurus (Mako) tooth from the Miocene of Chile. This specimen is very large and has very nice shape. The root is solid and substantial, and the enamel is very well preserved. Both sides of the tooth display wonderfully. This is a very fine specimen of a huge Mako Shark tooth from South America.
