This is a distinct fossil fish. It is a very large Mioplosus labracoides from Wyoming. This specimen is complete and has all the small fins intact. The teeth are even preserved on this specimen, on both the top and bottom jaws! The fish has great color and is nicely centered on the large matrix plate. This is a wonderful example of a large, predatory fish from the Green River Formation.
