This is a very unusual specimen of a branch with MANY cones from the Oligocene of Montana. These fossil cones are still tightly attached to the branch and exhibit great detail. The male cones display extremely fine detail. The fossil has wonderful color and contrast and is well presented on the natural plate of matrix. This is an excellent example of fossil cones on a large branch.

This fossil was collected and obtained legally, and is also being sold legally.
