Here is a spectacular Carcharocles megalodon tooth from the Miocene of Florida that we recently acquired from a major shark tooth collection. Megalodon teeth from Florida are becoming very difficult to obtain. This tooth is almost FOUR inches long and has a very solid root. The extremely sharp serrations of the tooth are easily seen, and the very tip of the tooth is incredibly intact. The shiny enamel of the tooth is also well preserved - the colorful enamel contrasts wonderfully with the dark root, making for a stunning display. This is a large, top quality Bone Valley, Florida Meg tooth.
