This is a beautifully prepared trilobite fossil! It is an unique multiple plate with TWO Hollardops and one Phacops from Morocco. This amazing, 3-D fossil was meticulously prepared under a microscope in the EXTINCTIONS Prep Lab here in the USA. There are THREE large trilobites (of two types) preserved in a cluster, which is very rare in the fossil record for these species! And not only are there examples of three different types, ALL THREE ARE COMPLETE AND EXTREMELY WELL PRESERVED! Both Hollardops have nearly perfect compound eye facets, and the Phacops even has a cool orange area on the glabella, which is fully natural! And this is a natural multiple - all three specimens are fossilized as they were when they were buried millions of years ago! This is a spectacular, one-of-a-kind multiple plate of THREE natural, artistically-prepared trilobites fossilized on one rock - a top quality trilobite fossil! (The photos do not do this piece justice - it displays MUCH better in person!)
