Specimen DSB02

This is an excellent dinosaur bone fossil. It is a large Prosaurolophus maximus (blackfeetensis?) rib bone from the Late Cretaceous of Montana. This awesome specimen was acquired at the Tucson Fossil Show in the late 1990's, and has been in our collection ever since. This distinct bone is REAL and wonderfully preserved - the detail of the surface of the bone is simply amazing. The large bone is heavy - it is replaced with dense stone, it's not hollow or crumbly. This is great specimen of a very collectible dinosaur bone that would display beautifully on a shelf or in a display case.

NOTE: THIS FOSSIL IS EXTREMELY FRAGILE DUE TO THE FACT THAT IT IS SO LONG AND THIN. IT WILL NEED TO BE DOUBLE BOXED TO ASSURE SAFETY. EVEN THEN, THERE IS NO GUARANTEE THAT IT WILL ARRIVE IN ONE PIECE. WE WILL ALSO INSURE THE PACKAGE IN CASE THERE IS CATASTROPHIC DAMAGE. IT SHOULD BE FINE, WE JUST WANT YOU TO BE AWARE. THANKS, STEVE
