Here is a nice grouping of crinoids from Gilmore City, Iowa. Two examples of Eretmocrinus tentor and one Aorocrinus iola (right) are preserved on the plate. All three crinoids are beautifully displayed, with the long arms wonderfully preserved, which is unusual. The fossil echinoderms have good color and contrast and are nicely positioned on the natural plate of shale. This is a very collectible set of crinoids from a classic fossil locality.
