Specimen SSA777

This is a very collectible Moroccan trilobite. It is a fabulous Harpides sp. from the Ordovician Layers of Morocco. This spectacular specimen is one of the most complete examples ever found - even the naturally-red genal spines are intact! This amazing bug has the MANY segments very well articulated and extremely fine detail preserved - just look at the minute detail present on the cephalon! The naturally colorful trilobite is beautifully displayed in the center of a large plate of dense shale. This is a top quality, textbook example of Harpides, one of the most unusual and sought-after trilobites from Morocco.
